Saturday Scripture

James 4:7-8

So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.

Prayer

I pray I will be humbled before You today. I pray that You will make me aware of the schemes of our enemy and make me strong to resist those schemes. Draw me close to you and help me make the time to come to you. Wash my hands from all the filth that I pick up just walking through life. If there is anything I need to seek repentance for, make it clear to me. I pray that whenever my loyalty is divided between You and the world that I will always choose You.
