Saturday Scripture

Romans 6:8-11

Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

Prayer

Papa God, I can never fully express how grateful and humbled I am that you sent your one and only son to die for my sins. Thank you for this holiday season to celebrate the new life I have in you because of Jesus. May I not take your sacrifice for granted, but embrace and honor it every day. Thank you that I am dead to sin and alive in you! HE IS RISEN INDEED!
